🐣 Join Us for the 2026 Deep River Easter Egg Hunt!

Deep River Parks & Recreation invites you to a morning of spring fun at Devitt Field! This event is free of charge and open to the community. Come down for your chance to find the coveted Golden Egg!

  • Rain Date: Sunday, March 29, 2026

  • Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

  • Location: Devitt Field (Southworth St.)

🕒 Hunt Schedule by Grade

To ensure everyone has a great time, the hunts are staggered by age group:

  • 11:15 am: Pre-K through 1st Grade

  • 11:20 am: 2nd and 3rd Grade

  • 11:25 am: 4th through 6th Grade

  • 11:30 am: The Easter Bunny Arrives!

🎈 Other Exciting Activities

Tai Chi is Back!

🌿 Riverside Renewal: Flow Like a River with Tai Chi

Start your Tuesday mornings with tranquility and movement! Join instructor Stephen Watson from Someday Farm for a restorative session designed to refresh your mind and body while taking in the beautiful views of the CT River.

🧘 What to Expect

Each 45-minute session includes:

  • Guided stretching and breathing exercises.

  • Self-massage techniques.

  • Joint range of motion practice.

  • The peaceful atmosphere of the Deep River Town Landing.

  • When: Tuesdays, April 7, 2026 – November 24, 2026

  • Time: 7:00 am – 7:45 am

  • Where: Deep River Town Landing

  • Cost: $12 per session (Please note: Participants will pay the instructor directly at each session).

2026 Summer Camp Registration Now Open!

☀️ Registration is OPEN for Deep River Parks & Rec Summer Camp 2026!

Get ready for a summer of sun, smiles, and adventure! We are thrilled to announce that registration for our 2026 Summer Camp is officially live. Whether your child loves exploring the outdoors, getting creative with crafts, or cooling off with a swim, we have something for everyone.

📅 Camp Basics

  • Dates: June 29, 2026 – August 7, 2026 (Please note: No camp on July 3rd)

  • Ages: Open to campers entering 1st through 7th Grade.

  • Standard Hours: Drop-off at 8:30 am | Pick-up at 3:30 pm.

  • Early Care: Available from 8:00 am – 8:30 am for those who need an earlier start!
